Managed to get myself into work this morning but by lunchtime I felt totally ghastly, couldnt breathe n eyes were streaming etc so I was told very politely to go home and I was sooooo happy to do so. Popped to the supermarket enroute, bought more pills, fruit juice and large tissues and then got home and fell into bed which felt wonderful. I actually slept for a good solid two hours until my dog woke me up by jumping on the bed and trying to suffocate me so I then got up and pottered about for the rest of the afternoon.
I had my first physio appointment and assessment this evening following the car accident that I was involved in a few weeks ago. After asking loads of questions I was laid on my tummy whereas I proceeded to wilt as I couldnt breathe properly , and she prodded and poked my neck and upper back...ouch, I didnt realise how much pain I was in until she started touching me. She said my muscles have gone into quite severe spasms and decided to put me on a course of anti inflammation tablets before she next sees me...she didnt do too much cos she said I would be in agony ! Bloody hell I dont appreciate THAT type of pain at all.
Anyway, got back home and made myself a bowl of carrot and lentil soup n had a couple of pills. Looking forward to seeing my Master in the morning especially as its his 52nd birthday. We were gonna play hard tomorrow but what with my sore neck and bad cold I think we could end up just cuddling for most of the time. Doesnt matter though, will just be nice to spend the day together.
Well, hopefully things will get back to normal soon...real life gets in the way sometimes doesnt it. Im going to bed now, gonna leave the window open so that I can hopefully breath enough to sleep even though it means my dog will no doubt creep into bed with me in the early hours cos he will be cold...actually, creep is the wrong word, he takes a flying leap and usually does a well aimed flop right on top of my face!!!
