Reading the posts about O & P meets in the O & P 2011 post It was suggested that more meets be arranged round the country due to the cost for some of travelling to London or Manchester.
The thought occured to me of deciding a set template for the meets and making it available to any locale wishing to arrange one. In this way seting up a meet would be simplified and any area in the country could become involved in a similar fashion. Hopefully a network of groups could possibly be set up.
Any thoughts gratefully recieved.

Sounds like a good idea. Any that get orgainised in Manchester,Birmingham or, say, Coventry would be easy for Me to get to because I live in Telford so I could be there and back in a day. It'd also give Me the perfect excuse to get out of this dump for the day and be back home without much complication. Sadder still to watch it die than never to have have known it. |

Well what usually happens is that a post is put out asking for topics to be discuss and then then are discussed with someone charing the meeting to keep it in some form of order... kinda. Of all the meetings i have ever been to they do just kind of flow with a little bit of steering here or there to keep it on track. But as with all event the tricky bit appears to be getting people to take the bull by the horns and actually arrange one.
