She was good friends with Mistress Delta, was well known at the Domina Club and was with me at the re-launch general meeting for SM Pride at about the end of 1997.

We had a very amicable split, bought everyone drinks at the old London Fetish Market and then went our separate ways towards the end of '98. Maria then moved-in with friends and hit the vampire and smuggler re-enactment scene. She actually had photo-sensitive skin and had to wear a "Scottish Widows" black velvet cloak in strong sunlight. I used to tell her that, with her photo sensitive skin, she was the only vampire role-player who could actually PASS the 'physical'. She was very proud of that.

She got on very well with my teenaged son and she actually introduced him to heavy metal, especially Alice Cooper. She and I dressed up for Walthamstow Village Festival in 1998, took my son with us, and we had a great day out. We ended up at the Walthamstow warehouse home of a well-known Japanese inspired bondage artist with my son talking to the artist about Escher and the artists who inspired Escher.

Unfortunately I can't tell my son what's happened as he was sectioned last week for his own safety and is currently being held in a secure ward.

Her death is an absolute tragedy as she was a bright and bubbly personality and had a great sense of humour.

If anyone can PM me and put me in touch with her current partner I would like to inquire about funeral details. I probably won't be able to travel but I'd like to see about sending flowers. If her partner reads this, please contact me PM.
