yeah it's a full shame that such crossover is still in its infancy here in the UK and that it's expensive to bring those with a lot of experience out here... But also note that there are a number of teachers and groups running different workshops and events here in the UK, and hopefully Raven's visit will help bring this crossover scene to life a bit more.

I don't know if it's any consolation, but there are a number of talks by Raven Kaldera at Treadwell's that might interest you coming up this week.. Each talk is £7 which should be manageable by most people

can you come to one of the other events at Treadwells listed above? It would be ace to meet some of those with similar passions who can't get to the weekend workshop... and those talks might be a good place for that?

Yes, it is in its infancy, but also just something one isn't quite sure how to look for. I just ran across the Baphhouse site, fairly recently (compared to time on the scene) after running across one of your posts about an event. I just keep an eye on you now.
