for those even remotely interested in popular music the John Peel book "Margrave of the Marshes" is well worth a read.

As well as a great look at the man's life it gives some great anecdotes on top music personalities...

It's weird, I loved John Peel, and was devastated when he died. But I've never really been compelled to read this. Maybe I will one day.

I don't read manhy biographies, but recently I read 'The Strangest Man', a biography of Paul Dirac. I was interested in him and his work anyway, but it's a brilliant read.
