Whilst I am waiting for my carpel tunnel operation I have been given splints to wear. These seem to hurt more
Hate the pain of not wearing them and hate the pain of wearing them. Dunno which is worse!! Hey ho - roll on mid-March

I have had carpel tunnel for a long time now, i find if you wear splints for a couple/few days depending on how bad it gets, you can have a good few weeks/months without the pain too bad! I don't want the Op, don't like the side effects, but no doubt one day i will "need to get it" lol If you go through life with your head in the sand, all people will see, is an arse

Sorry to hear about this. But you know me got to make comment; this has only been present since you have been wielding hitty things. Suggest you give them a rest :p

Poor you. However, looking on the bright side, at least you have a lifelong sick note excusing you from doing the ironing ever again. (If you needed one in the first place.) I hope it goes well.

I have this in both my hands and was considering the operation btu was not able to be off work for anything up to 3 months as the Doctor told me. I wore the splints alot at first but now only have to wear them on bad days. At the start l had to sleep in them all the time but not so often now. They have made life and work where l need my hands bareable tot he point l can avoid going under the knife. ~~~The power of submission lies not in the ability to kneel before another, to give over one's body or in the wearing of a collar......... The power of submission can be found only in the heart of the one who gives her love to another freely knowing the joy and pain will come from it.~~~ |
