It's great that so many new events are happening around the North West lately. What myself and a few other event organisers thought that we'd like to do now, is to all work with each other to keep the scene thriving. To see if we could try and make sure that similar, or close by events don't clash, whenever possible and help new events to succeed rather than compete. Whilst some events have a rigid date every month, others can be more flexible. It'd be great if both kinds joined in so that a new event, or one-off event would be able to discuss dates sensibly with everyone, before deciding the best way forward. We all just thought it would be far more beneficial if we could have a group where everybody got to know each other, got talking to each other and worked together to avoid any potential clashes where possible. Hopefully we might even eventually expand this to cross-promote, advertise, and support each other in certain appropriate cases. It'd be great to form a strong bond amongst all the various North West Events, including munches, and make the most of Northern BDSM. This might all end in tears, lol, but there's no harm trying! Hopefully this is the birth of the North West Events Group.

Ok, time to try plan B....when I've thought of it.... Otherwise I shall have to work out a way to minimise my ideas and.... actually that could be Plan B! Concentrate on a few things and see what we can achieve first. Which is what some of us are already doing already and I wanted to show as an example. Cross promoting, lending equipment, combining events, recommending each other to clients, stalls etc, swapping links and promotions on websites and blogs and threads.... and not competing but all getting stronger for it.
BDSM whippets are still welcome to join in though, as is everyone else.
