Held in the Holyrood Pub on Holyrood Road from 2pm until 5pm. We may be there longer but will cease to be on the look out for new people arriving after this time. This map shows the approximate location as the postcode puts it round the corner from the actual location. There will be a copy of the Kalevala on the table. We are "officially" a civil liberties political discussion group. We've moved it this month so as not to clash with the rope workshop in Glasgow and will confirm in the not to distant future whether the munch will return to the last Sunday of the month or not. The dress code is vanilla, strictly no fetish wear due to the nature of the pub. The pub does mid-priced to expensive food of better than average pub-food quality, a range of beers from continental beers to local real ale and more types of other drinks than you can shake a stick at. We have arranged though for there to be no table service for the group, so all food and drink must be ordered at the bar and paid for when ordered. This prevents forgetfulness and ill-feeling with the management. If you're new and want some encouragement then please feel free to contact myself or @asfxea here on IC and we can arrange to meet you a little before the event kicks off. Hope the cover of the Kalevala is distinctive so newbies can recognise the table we are sitting at (normally on the right as you enter) Edited 23 Jan 11, 11:03 AM by Asfxea |
