I had a really positive and upbeat blog to make about BDSM, but somehow I am no longer in the mood.
Today, my dog had to be put down by the vet. This is the same dog as I wrote about in much more cheery fashion in an earlier blog.
He was very old anyway for a dog, and I knew it was coming. He took a sudden turn for the worse a week or two ago, and went downhill rapidly from there. The poor thing had no idea what was happening to him as his motor functions started to collapse and his vision went.
In a way, it is better that it is over now than dragging it out any longer, but it is still a sad time.
I will save my upbeat post for another day. It will keep.
