This is simply to point out that my last post was just a cathartic, "get it off my chest" type rant.

I am sure I will be stung in the same way and others in the future, but that is the price you have to pay if you are willing to reach out and try to link with someone new. It just helps to bitch about it afterwards before moving on to seek someone else who may or may not be the great love of your life...

Thanks to all who have sent comments regarding it, i know that this is not uncommon, but I will still bitch about it every time it happens, and then having aired my misery, I will cheerfully go in search of someone new, who may or may not hurt me just as badly. I could start getting deep and philosophical about it, but I fear that it would end up sounding pretentious.

In short, yes it hurts, no I don't like the pain, but hey, I heal quickly and - just maybe - one day it won't hurt because I will have found the perfect partner.
