The Chester Munch has a new permanent home, which is the Town Crier pub, City Road, Chester CH1 3AE, which is right outside Chester train station. As before the munch will be on the THIRD Thursday of every month. The Town Crier has its own large car park situated on City Road itself, to the side of the pub, and we have negotiated use of the upstairs room. From the front entrance, come past the family area and you'll see a doorway to your left...from the car park entrance, walk towards the bar and you'll see the door to your right near the fruit machine.
Thursday night is currently curry night (though the full menu is still available), and the staff are pleased to bring food upstairs for us. The food is good quality and inexpensive, as is the beer...AND we have the benefit of good light and heating here Please note as this is a new venue, we need to be discreet...it is a family pub and we have to use the downstairs bar Any further information required, please contact @just_six, @jules9 or @Chester_munch profiles. Tempted too, but still getting over the lurgy...and off work till next Thurs...be interested to know who might be going...all in the interest of getting a lift home of course

Lift there is no problem, but a lift home just isn't an option when we are in work the next day - sorry hun - now just move closer!!! XxX | |||

Two days to go guys...any of those who have been in touch and would like a meet and greet, the munch phone will be on from 6pm Thursday (unfortunately i'm working till then). Some of us will no doubt be in the family area eating from 7.30 onwards, otherwise just head off upstairs...and don't be shy now, we only bite if you ask VERY nicely See you all there! | |||
