What is the "right" impression of the munch then? I think it suits a Saturday afternoon in Glasgow If you go through life with your head in the sand, all people will see, is an arse

Enjoyed LGRA - thank you Kit! As for Tron, excellent film. Loved not only the costumes but the music too. Fantastic sequal. BUT, the IMAX was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. The screen is massive, and I loved that. Seats were fine, plenty of space. Nothing wrong with the place, and I architecture of the Science Centre is wonderful. But the 3D experience was distracted by ghosting you get on the 3D glasses. What is supposed to be the ultimate in film experience, IMAX, was marred by lens which gave a secondary ghost image. Very distracting. END OF LINE

So you think it is an afternoon of drunkenness, vomiting and babbling? I think it is more like an afternoon of entertainment, information and education. Rohypnol means never having to say "Would you like another coffee?".

HMMM nope, i think it is a great afternoon of scene(sometimes non scene) people having a really good time, sorry, never saw anyone vomit, maybe a few babbles, but that seems pretty normal to me in any day/night out sober or drunk Still can not see any reason for not calling it LGRA ....AEIE just aint doing it for me!

Yeah, that does sound a bit 'Accident and Emergency' to me lol. LGRA - was initially a very tongue in cheek (no not THE TIC's idea), slightly ironic, name - seeing as how it started life as a meet over coffee and muffins. At that time of day, (noonish, if I remember right - may be wrong though) even one glass of wine on an empty stomach would have knocked most of us tiddly lol. Therefore, we JOKINGLY got 'rat arsed' on a Sat afternoon but the 'Oh this is nice, getting rat arsed on a saturday afternoon with lots of friends and potential friends' was shortened to LGRA - phew can breathe now.
Profile used to explain all of the above (kinda) and point out that there was absolutely NO need to even partake in alcoholic beverages at the venue (now in it's 3rd venue) serves reasonably good food and soft drinks - yup even coffee and teas (herbal and otherwise)
SO..... Could change it to 'yet another Glasgow Munch' but that would get confusing. xxx Edited for typos. If I wasn't so darn wonderful, I'd be absolutely ruddy perfect Edited 20 Jan 11, 11:33 AM by MissKittyDeVil
