To let friends know- Russ passed away on the 5th ...
Russ was a long term scene character, Dom and loving husband to lm.. and good friend to many of us - a flirt, a tease and downright cheeky joker-he'll be sorely missed but with fond memories and a smile.
leathermini asked me to post to let friends know, and when the cremation arrangements are confirmed i'll update - if you want to attend you will be welcome - will try and get an idea of numbers nearer the time .
Ive passed on wishes already from some of you - and please feel free to post memories and good wishes here.

Very sad news. One of the first people I met when I moved up to Manchester, always willing to chat and share his knowledge. My sympathies to lm, a lovely lady who doesn't deserve such sadness.

I'm sure I only met them both in passing many years ago, but have known them on and off on IRC for a number of years. Was very saddened to hear the news. My condolences. It's always so hard to say something to help ease the pain. *hugs*
I'm a woman! We don't say what we WANT! But we reserve the right to get pissed off if we don't get it. That's what makes us so fascinating! And not a little bit scary. |

I know my contact has been sporadic since leaving the UK, but i have fond memories from the years of knowing Russ (and leathermini). Laughter, smiles, hugs, spirit and friendship to both myself and Thomas... this world makes little sense at times With fondness Jane

Just heard and to say we are floored is an understatement. Biggest of hugs to lm, we've not seen them for a while but they have never been far from our thoughts.
