No idea - the feather warcast looks pretty good though, for a change! If we do go for it, strongly recommend that those going a-swamping after bring a change of footware so they don't stomp mud about the place, and nylon and rubber whips might be preferable to posh leather ones, given the inevitable sogginess. I could bring a fair few such. Let's see if other peeps are hup ferrit. | ||

I'm hoping to make it. Keep the weather updates coming as according to our local reports, the South Midlands could be in for some more snow turning to rain for the weekend. Mick

Snow? Pah! I'm Scottish n used to snow. Me, Kedamono and Mistress Geo came down from Hereford in a foot of snow last year to Swamp n it was bleeding cancelled! (They are Australian n easily led when told you can easily drive in it!!) Actually I only had to dig Kedamono out twice when he didn't realise you can't reverse or drive into snow drifts, not bad for first time driving in snow.

I shall be there. Unfortunatly, Alex is working so I shall be all on my lonesome. Feel free to keep me company if you see me I am also available to provide lifts (short notice, I know, for which I apologise) and have 3-4 spare spaces in my car but be warned, I often go down early to help set up and stay late to help set down. I won't be able to join in the whipcracking tomorrow (things at home). But if anyone's interested, I've hired an indoor venue in a couple of weeks time for softies like me who prefer their whipcracking in a nice dry warm place (with coffee and tea!) It's in a nice convenient place in Bristol - drop me a line for details if you're interested. Have fun tomorrow! Richard |
