It's my IC-versary. Two years ago today I had just turned eighteen, deleted my jailbait profile (@xquixoticx). Amusingly I didn't really know exactly what quixotic meant, but I suppose I was only sixteen or so when I picked it.
So, what's changed two years later? Well. I've got a kickass boyfriend, who happens to be, well, no one likes gushy weblogs but he's pretty fucking awesome. I've also got the best best-friend a girl could ask for (even if we do bicker and pinch and poke each other all the time!) Anyway, I wouldn't dare gush about you darling because I know you'd probably pull all my hair out with embarrassment. Oh, and if I wasn't enough of a spoilt bitch already I've got a band of hilarious, insane, beautiful dirty pretty things who I can't imagine being happy without.
So, my biggest thank you is to IC, without it I wouldn't have any of these people. I wouldn't have had the friends that I do, the amazing parties, the great sex, the mind blowing play sessions and, well, frankly I'm not sure if I'd be the person I am today.
I've grown up a lot since I first joined IC. I think 18 to 20 is a real period of change. I hope that I'll keep growing and keep changing, but I really hope that I stay this happy.
