I went out to a local patisserie this afternoon for a slice of chocolate gateau.
I love gataeux. Not just chocolate, but also black forest, and other types too. I *much* prefer it to, for example, cupcakes or biscuits.
Who else loves gataeux?

Another bread and butter pudding fan here. I shall make one later today when we have friends joining us for lunch. And lemon tart, brownies, blondies and red velvet cake. Not crazy about 'creamy' cakes, although a current favourite desert is warm Victoria sponge served with ice cream. And excellent combination. |
