In general, clothing isn't a big fetish of mine, but I did get wide-eyed and lustful over a group of leather men at pride this year. I think it's about the context more than the clothes themselves. If I do a club where that's the dress code the clothes being worn don't interest me much if at all. I see it at pride, however, and to me it means that among all the statements they could have made about themselves with their outfit what they mosty wanted to say was that they define and take pride in themselves not only as queers but as BDSMers. This, I find very attractive.

It's not that often that I read something that strikes a chord, but this is just such an example. All the 'fetish' wear that is worn to clubs, often (it seems) to conform to the dress code, does little for me (however much I might enjoy the appearance), but where it is worn deliberately, for effect or to make a statement, then the impact is much more powerful. I often find it's energy of the wearer that does it but I adore to see a mans sleeves slowly, cruely and purposefully pushed up. I do like the rumpled business look but I'm a sucker for period costume - particularly if it's high gentry and Victorian(ish). And a soft tactile looking 'daddy jumper' gets my attention... One you cant help but want to curl into. Warm, clutch-able, cuddly, soft against a cheek and smelling deeply safe. "Yes, but that's just not relevant.." Edited 27 Dec 10, 2:05 AM by successfu1

For me it has to be black trousers (preferably leather!) and a black ghillie shirt.
But then again any guy in a nice suit usually catches my eye Penguin Of Death

I really really really get the (real) cowboy thing. I lived in Wyoming for a bit; Evanston has a few hunky rodeo men coming through from time to time...mmmmm. Ever watch those rodeo boys move? OMG! |
