Just wondering if anyone experienced the earthquake last night. The epicentre was in Cumbria but, according to the lunchtime news, the effects were felt much further afield.

Was quite disappointed to find that it had taken place and I hadn't felt a thing here. Unlike that one last year (?) when me and zelie both felt it 200 miles and odd miles apart It's only a weblog |

I felt one about 20 odd years ago. Very strange. |

we felt it at about 11 the house shook and there was a noise like a jet fighter overhead. it lasted about 20 seconds. this is the 2nd one here in 12 months.
on the bright side it cracked the ice on the lakes. |
