An interesting response from @poupee. Technically, she is correct but somehow I think she's going to regret it.

An argument is precisely that. The statement of individual facts with a description of how and why they apply in this case with the intention of trying to create a change.
The problem lies in seeing the word 'argument' as being confrontational. In it's strict sense it is not.
But then nice does not mean pleasant (it means exact, precise) and "go down" does not mean to descend either but to ascend.
However, someone who says "I'm not arguing, merely stating facts" is probably not doing either. S/he's looking for a fight and merely stating opinion, in most cases. |

lol... I was certainly not looking for a fight Little Cheeses didn't tell you anything about the context and I can assure you that I was indeed stating facts. What is it with you Dom types, you never play nicely or fairly! I mean us lowly subs don't argue, present you with accurate information (as normally requested by yourselves) and then get told off for it. We are only trying to please and wouldn't dare be rude you know
Tis the season of Goodwill, could you not let it pass this time?
(Ok maybe this isn't just aimed at you and He is getting the hint that maybe I'm back peddling now the snow is going and the distance is becoming travelable again. Oh and if anyone has some spare notebooks apparently He has run out...)
