I got bored of counting at 1200, and that was approximately 40 minutes into an hour long session.
This week, I sessioned with probably my favourite masochist. He's a tradional JPer - no safeword, no limits etc. A rarity in itself, and a joy for a sadist 
My tools were canes of various types, a sjambok, a singletail and both wooden and rubber paddles, as well as a tawse and a lovely carbon fibre rod a friend of mine made for me.
No brief, so I was most random in my approach, using each item as and when I wished, after having abraded the arse in question first. One must prepare one's meat properly! At several points, I can remember beating in time to the music, other times, just at whim. He writhed and cried out, or rather tried to, as he was securely ball-gagged. Lots of sweat, shaking and moaning as his body fought to absorb the relentless pain. Heavy bruising appeared after five minutes, first blood at ten.
I took a break (arm ache!), leaving him tied down on the bench, contemplating his fate and his war wounds. Then I came back, I thought to myself that it seemed rather a shame to leave the tops of the legs and sides so lily-white in amongst all that delicious purple, red and black. So I coloued that in for him too. I do like to be thorough.
A good job well done. Messy. Can't wait for the next time!

Painting by numbers eh "At a whim" is my favourite, the unknown, fear and different pain is sublime.
