The below link is a typical example of modern journalism.
The interviewer sits in judgement over the interviewee, firing accusations and slurs, while expecting the respondent to justify themselves. It's okay for the journalist to make exaggerated claims and even lie, as long as they cite third-party sources, e.g. “There's a suggestion that you were rolling towards the police in your wheelchair”. But while the journo hides behind unaccredited references, the interviewee is forced to answer allegations aimed directly at themselves. Sadly, I don't think that the interviewer was being deliberately biased against Jody McIntyre. He was simply practicing what has now become the standard adversarial, rude, ratings-grabbing and (most importantly) unaccountable type of journalism, the like of which is making it almost pointless to watch the news.

Maybe his accusations and slurs weren't. Mr McIntyre is being economical with the truth about being a bloke in a wheelchair who happened to picked upon. http://jodymcintyre.wordpress.com/2010/11/11/wee... http://ww.dontpaniconline.com/magazine/radar/jod... http://order-order.com/2010/12/14/wheels-come-of... I think he came off pretty well on that. Shame there wasnt a police spokesman there as well, though no doubt he would hide behind double speak and "I cant comment on the incident but generaly" Nice to see a direct answer for a change. commitment is like ham and eggs. the chicken makes a contribution, the pig makes a commitment.

I fail to see the point you are trying to make here. Two comments from McIntyre, showing that he took an active part in the demonstration, something he never denied, and the second one showing he supports the cause of Palestine, something that many thinking people do. The final quote appears to be a slur from an extreme-right website. Why not try to address the actual issue - the conduct of the interviewer? 'To loose' means 'to let go'. 'Lose' means you can't find it. 'Discrete' means separate. 'Crescendo' means 'growing'. 'Fulsome' doesn't mean 'full'. 'Unique' doesn't mean 'very unusual'.
