The next CKD will be 21st December 2010 8pm until 11pm (or until the bar closes!) Meet and greet from 7.30pm if requested. The theme this month is Kinky Christmas! Dress code is whatever you like, vanilla or fetish, dress up or dress down. Fetish wear is encouraged! Hidden Rooms is located at The Basement, 7a Jesus Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8BA. Please note that this venue is actually hidden! If you look out for a Pizza Express it's a door to the right with steps down to the basement. At Hidden Rooms we sometimes have our own private room (the one on the left hand side as you come down the stairs) but if we're not there we will be in the private booth of the right hand room - either way the management are completely open-minded so we can still dress as we please and talk as loud as we like! I am also very pleased to announce that they have more reasonable prices at the bar including £2 DRINKS! - ask the bar staff what's on special that night. (And if you're feeling flush their cocktails are divine!)

Damn, I was really looking forward to this but I've come down with sinusitis! I wasn't well this morning and I've got progressively worse as the day has gone on, so rather than share all my germs with you I think I'll have to stay home with a lemsip and my blankie and have an early night.

Hi Everyone,
I have a simple question... I was told that only *one* person actually turned up! o_O;
I know that some of you were kept away by the weather but if you have other commitments come up it would have been good to know as if so few people are able to get there it would have been better to have cancelled it as an official kinky drinkies. It matters because we are getting free hire of a venue that charges almost every other party (or requires they have a minimum drinks spend) - and that's for hire of the booth we use as well as the left hand room. I know some of you had some problems about the venue at the last CKD, but as promised those concerns were passed on to the management and an accord was reached to minimise any inconveniences to our party in the future. I'm not berating anyone (particularly as I had to bow out myself due to being ill once again!) but I'm genuinely curious as to what went wrong so that I can pass it on to the management of Hidden Rooms and hopefully it won't affect our future use of the venue.
