I was taken by some of the discussion in the Lancelot thread. Being of the Domly disposition, I have always had the metaphor in my mind of being the king. What I have always wanted to have is my queen. That woman who is loyal to me, submissive to me, but probably seen by others to be incredibly capable, strong and not in the least bit submissive. I sense that others out there might be more attracted to the serving wench... I accept that we may well be tearing this metaphor to pieces but it is one that has particular meaning to me. So kings of the world... Which woman do you want? Queen or wench? "The art of being a Gentleman is knowing when not to be"

I'd go for both. Having the Queen serve the wench in private would help keep her humble. True and genuine are only concepts and as such are meaningless. Try thinking in terms of compatibility instead.

I'll hsve the Queen, a couple of wenches and droit de seigneur thanks, just don't call me greedy to my kingly face if you want to stay out of the tower. To answer the OP's question as it was asked, for a companion I would sooner have a loyal steadfast Queen rather than a flighty wench or maid. But the Queen won't be picking the chambermaid alone... Interesting question. I followed a really interesting thread on here a while ago called "Submissive Alpha Females" and this reminds Me of that. When I read that thread I realised that that was what I was looking for; sounds silly I know, afterall, how can I not know what I want, but the title of that thread helped Me put a name to what I was looking for and helped Me clarify it in My own mind-gave Me a definable image, if you like. Anyway, to answer the question, I want both; that is, someone who is a queen to other people but is a serving wench to Me. I want someone who is strong, capable and highly respected, maybe even feared a bit in their daily lives but has needs to be the total opposite with/for Me.

The "princess by day, slut by night?" LOL Im watching with interest, as all the wenches I've ever seen on tele are quite strong, rowdy and willing to get involved in bar fights. LOL Is the Queen perhaps not so "strong", but has the quiet dignity? "Strip!"

Possibly, but I always thought that the above quote was vanilla and I'm thinking of something more "hard-core"; someone who has real power and capability but who gives it up as and when it siuts Me and does so for extended periods of time, not just at home after work for a couple of hours, which is what I always thought the "princess by day slut by night" quote meant.

I was thinking to transpose the thread to a pantomime idiom. King D marries Queen F and have a DFs relationship...specially on bank holiday Mondays. Julian Clary could play the Queen. Then we can have a Rasputin figure played by Abul Hanza on day release. The wench???.... Babs Windsor.

Some of us employ our own servants...... so I doubt anyone would really think it a good use of my abilities to do stuff I delegate. I think most people don't want a relationship to result in their having a worse standard of living and life than they have at their own home. It's quite an issue actually in practice which I suppose is why alpha subs tend to want men a par with them. |
