So today is the last day of my five day weekend - the joys of being told by work that I have holiday I need to use, or risk losing the last few days!
And what am I doing today? Rather than another pyjama/film/gentle housework day, I'm heading out among the masses to do the dreaded christmas shopping! *headdesk*
I console myself with the fact that a)it's tuesday, and b)the kids are all at school, but still - it means going into the Bullring. And Primarni. *shudders*
It'll be worth it when I've done all the shopping and I'm sat with a toffee nut latte and a squidgy slice of something to reward myself.
Why is it days off from work go by so damn quickly, but the working week equivalent seems to drag something rotten?
The kids (read cats) have enjoyed having Mummy-on-tap the last few days though, which has been lovely. I'm all fussed out, even if they're not!
I suppose I'd best get dressed really - they won't let me into the bullring in my PJ's.....
Must start christmas shopping earlier next year!!!!! *note to self*

Hahahaha hands up everybody who says this each year? Although I have shocked and stunned myself this year by actually having done some of mine already (Amazon is my saviour). Good luck with the shopping, and if you could just pick up a few bits for me... where shall I send the list? WK | ||

I say it EVERY year, and it still gets to the 2nd week in december before I pull my finger out and get on with it!
I would get your bits, but by the time your list gets here, it'll be too late! Shame that... red The people who matter won't mind, and the people who mind don't matter! |
