Apart from a lovely cup of coffee and an almond slice, the day began with a true gem of live radio, as James Naughtie, introducing a piece on super fast broadband plans, referred to his guest as "Jeremy Cun...Hunt the Culture Secretary*coughcough*"

I missed what he actually said but heard his choking fit a few minutes later and his apology for the spoonerism.

Just checked it, people are looking at me very strangely indeed. It's the quiet carriage and I keep giggling. What a fine way to start the week.!

Has made my day. Didn't quite believe it when I heard it, but then him struggling not to laugh while introducing the 8 o'clock news was the funniest thing this year.

Apparently some people have emailed to say they are offended. What is wrong with them?

Andrew Marr did it too, trying very hard NOT to do it, and Charlotte Green slowed down to a snails pace to avoid catching the bug
