It's amazing to me. This is the the first time I've ever put up a profile online. I've tended to recruit and train my subs the vanilla way. What shocks me is that of the 100 or so supposed subs who have written to me in the 3 days of my profile's life, pleading to be my sub, to serve me, to worship me, to meet my needs etc.....only 5% have bothered to read and act upon my profile. Only one actually did so spontaneously without actually requiring prompting or discipline. I am very interested to hear other domme's experiences. Is this the norm? Why? How do you deal with this? It's really rather irritating. Fuck. All these desperate subs whining about how hard it is to find a domme and yet they can't be bothered to do the basic minimum. That does suggest it's just a wank fantasy for them rather than a genuine orientation. I must say that while the majority are quite polite and some are very detailed in their introductions, there is a distinct lack of submissiveness! So much for subs. The idea is that they do as I tell them, not that they do what they like or try to sweet talk me to do what they fancy doing. I used to think that other dommes were mean when I read their profiles or posts but now I realise how lazy so many pseudo-subs are. It's all about them, their needs, their kicks, their wants. It's hard work being a domme on here.

The pseudu sub is in the majority it seems and the above post is the most factual I have seen on here.

Thank you Captain! I see that you have the same problem, judging from your profile. I note that they're all men so far though I am open to women too. Perhaps female subs IC behaviour is different to the male pseudo-sub. Having said that, there are one or two very good ones with whom I am delighted so far.

Ummm... but doesn't your profile ask them to send you links of "what they like" and "what they fancy doing"?

This. I posted my first thread 2 days ago, and only really did anything to my profile today, but I recieved numerous messages which should have just read 'I saw your thread but read none of it'.

I was thinking that too, lol! It isn't the most respectful profile i have seen either and i quote: ''From now on, I am not going to reply to the lazy twats who cannot obey this simple command.'' For some your request for pics and links could be seen as a disguised way to get cheap thrills also.

Exactly. You're not going to reply, your profile says, to anyone not doing exactly as you describe. So why have a whine about it on a board. There's only one thing left to say .... "Welcome to IC". "Fork handles?" "No, not 'fork handles' ... four candles."

Exactly! It does....because I want to know what they genuinely like, rather than parroting back what they think I want to hear....and only a tiny few even bother to do that! |
