the saga continues... previous thread here quick recap: it's a simple concept really - having a "Like" button to acknowledge posts to threads you've enjoyed or have tickled your funny bone or have simply made you smile This is NOT to replace posting on threads but in itself will free up more space on the thread for posting. MisterBear was kind enough to demonstrate how putting smilies after each post he liked (as was suggested by some other members) would 'waste space' and just clog the thread up. Ugly_Betty was spot on in saying it would make it easier to follow the topic in the thread without having to 'sort through' the - yes I agree bits etc etc Yes I KNOW it's a lot like facebook - but that's where the idea really works. I'm not quite sure how on earth the whole bullying thing managed to rear its head into the discussion but there you go, we're back at bloody kindergarten again it seems. Seriously though Admin - it kinda makes sense and it's not that we're lazy, it's just a sign of the times...moving forward and all that. Now that the chatrooms have gone - do you think we could have a 'Like' button instead?? Just a little one to start off with...I promise we'll behave (well the adults will, the rest we'll have to send to the bottom step)

You posted exactly this on the last thread too. Is it that you want a "Facebook" button? I don't understand. Or are you just making the same point twice? Edited to add: You also said the Like button would

Well if this is going to be done for pure laziness, then I want Velcro instead of buttons. True and genuine are only concepts and as such are meaningless. Try thinking in terms of compatibility instead. | ||||
