I don't really have any "Funny dom names", but I do have "Funny dom behaviour". My nominations for this are the men who used to hit on me assuring me they were "dom" when their profiles said, "being_sub, being_bottom". On asking them if they were so "Dom" why their profiles said, "being_sub" and "being_dom" they always replied they had not had time to update their profile??????? How long does it take? I misread a memo and profile the other day as saddo_dom and thought it was fabulous. Turns out it was sado_dom and not meant to be funnny. Shame. | |

I must be very naive. My name means something to me, and is actually a concatenation of another name. To me it is all about the existence of an idea and taking the idea from an intangible to reality. The germination of a concept, you could say. It never occurred to me that it might create any sort of association with pedophilia, but in at least one person it did. It was one of the most hideous possible moments when a person started sending memos to me on here, gradually escalating them until to the dawning realisation that they were imagining something quite hideous of me. I'm not really naive (try me, lol) but it just never occurred to me. Not clever. But I never thought of changing my name, it's been with me a long time. It means something to me. There are no bad names, like there are no bad words. | |
