Nearly time to go.
This has come around so fast. SEA beckons and I fly out at 8pm from Manchester.
I want to say thank you for all the messages, especially Tania Jones for her weblog. The memos I have received, from many I have never conversed with before, have been staggering. It has amazed me how many want to do what I am doing but cannot. I urge you all to hang in there and it will come.
I blogged about doing this 4 years ago. Never EVER say never.
Thank you is not enough for what Tope has give me. A place to store, what is left, of my belongings. Opened her home to me RENT FREE for 2 months. Support and advice. She has bought me practical gifts like a silk sleep sac and the most amazing swiss army knife. Friendships like I have are rare and they are the sort that give me confidence.
I want to say get well soon to Sweetiejar. Some of you will know she is very unwell. I admire this woman so much. She has been my 'Rock' and my 'Jimminy Cricket' for 5 years now. She is someone you carry around in your head as her presence in your life is so strong. I love you S.
There is so much waiting for you all out there. Get in your car, on a train or don you walking boots and go and see! You do not have to leave the country to change your scenery, and outlook on life!

Have a fantastic trip River_Deep. You'll be missed by those who read your input to this site and no doubt even more by those who are fortunate to have you as a real life friend. If you're doing a travelblog, can I go on your list? You're a fine example of someone who is going somewhere, not leaving somewhere - there's a world of difference! Bon voyage.
