I know there has been a posting quite recently about bullying, harrassment etc in rooms and various suggestions about how to deal with it.I am assuming the recent changes to the rooms is as a result of this and i must say, i love the new system.Quite a few of us have been playing fun games in the lounge such as eye spy, and slutty 10s ( a new one on me, thanks englishh!)so i just wanted to say the majority can and do play nicely and we have been fostering a climate of comaradarie! perhaps we could have a room for games and fun quizzes at certain times?? pollyxx | |

Yes, and whilst we are on the subject of new rooms.....Can we pleeeease have a "bedroom"?? No, not for chats about 'nilla sex......but one where those of us who are insomniacs, could seek out others still awake in the wee small hours because they just cannot sleep. I get so lonely with no-one to chat to at 3am (or whatever) I would love somewhere to pop into and see if there is someone to while away the time chatting to!! I also love the new room set up. On the subject of the insomiacs who don't or can't sleep, I'd have to be honest and say that usually the 2am plus crowd, are the kindest most supportive people around. Maybe most people up at that time are in pain, troubled or just can't sleep and value talking to others, I'm not sure, but its always the nicest time to be on IC. Unfortunately these days I really do need to be getting some sleep during the night shift on IC and I can't take part in it the way I have done over the past year, but I miss everyone who was a regular at that time and the general feeling of supportiveness in the room in the wee small hours. I have to say that I have never ever noticed any bullying in the chat rooms. Yeah there are some clicks but you get that munches and in everyday life. Adama: What do you hear, Starbuck? |
