Has email replaced the traditional new-years eve phonecall for you?
I know I find it easier to say truelly heartfelt things to my friends when I'm writing (whether email or letter) than it can be when I talk to them.
So, I've taken to emailing my close friends a new-year "hello and thank you for your friendship" message. In the emails I can be as slushy and gushing as I like, without feeling the find myself clam up and go into "joke" mode to cover up the feelings...
Maybe it's my "male side" coming out.... who knows.... anyway...
Off to enjoy new year...
