Seriously....who is on the ball with this!!??

I shall have to come and poke this nearer the time.

This Xmas Munch instead of making a badge if you feel like getting into the spirit of things the 'theme *cringes internally* is Xmas hats.

Oh and bring along some party food and we will have a good old fashioned Yorkshire buffet!

If you want to be involved in the secret santa simply bring a gift worth no more that £5 and add your name to the list when you put it in santa's sack. Santa will come around during the evening and you can rummage in his sack for a suprise ;-)

Do come along and if you don't do festivities you can still chill and chat, every xmas munch needs a scrooge! Bar humbug!

Ahh yes, Sorry about that. It was mentioned to me that it would be a good idea to revive the old York munch tradition of a post munch curry.

There are a few decent curry houses nearby and we can phone ahead with numbers so I throw it out to the good people of York to let us know if you fancy a curry after the munch, Dec or another munch (I'm sure a few sausage rolls won't kill your appitite!)Post interest on here or I will mention it again at the munch.

Yes, I did mention it to you (thunder rolls off into the distance). We've some interest already. There are two decent curry houses only 5 minutes walk from the Munch. One of them can seat a large group at very short notice and will be happy to do so even if we are quite late.

The post munch curry used to be a cosy social extension, very enjoyable whether you were eating a full plate or just munching on someone else's poppadums whilst partaking of a beer.

Be useful to hear of anyone's interest here. No commitment until the evening obviously. English meals are on the menu. :-)

Thats a great idea June, but maybe to avoid confusion it should have a separate thread.

The post Munch curry is a chance to have fun and socialise for a little longer. Adding a bit extra to the evening, particularly for those who pay for babysitters or have to travel.

Sausage rolls, PhoenixAmber? Won't you be bringing your Sweeties? ;-)

Who's gonna be Santa then? Sounds like a fun job if you've got a big sac =-o ... sorry... SACK!

Hah Bumhug!
