I think it's really just about knowing yourself and knowing how you react to a drug. About knowing the advantageous effects that can be utilised to enhance an experience. I really don't feel a spliff is something heavy duty to worry about, far less harmful than drink! It's likely to enhance perception in many ways as it does with music. (however, as a little experiment, I'm now plying @kreibebe with some top grade grass.)
