Thanks everyone for a brilliant afternoon! Thanks to @GlasgowBound for organising, good to see so many folk. And to all the wusses who didn't make it, I drove 97 miles to Glasgow and 97 miles home again (OK, so I wussed out of stating for the evening), and a certain person who may or may not choose to identify herself not only came over from Edinburgh, but at the end of the afternoon left to go to Aberdeen! Hmm, I think I would prefer not to get into one-upmanship about travelling times! Even though I would win because I am well hardcore, like (sodding railways incapable of coping with a bit of snow- where is Thomas the Tank Engine with his snowplough when you need him?)... It was really good fun and thank you all people for being friendly and not scary! I am hoping I will come to future things and try to be less nervous (not very good at that but hey). PS If anyone wants to join my 'network' on here too, then that would be lovely as it's currently a bit titchy. |
