Event announcements on the boards (14)

• You can specify the full postcode, which will be used to include a small street map from Google Maps with a link to the full-size zoomable map.
• Buttons appear which allow other members to mark the event as interesting (for their own reference) or say they're going. Either way a status update is added to their wall to let their friends know about your event.
• If they say they are going, their profile name is added to the visible list of who's going.

Once these changes settle down, the Event Dates List and the Calendar will be derived directly from these event announcement threads (and the old events in the listing will be converted into this new format.) That should make it simpler to start a thread and get in the listings in one go.

To avoid filling the boards with announcements of events months in advance, threads about events more than 28 days ahead will only appear once they get a reply.

In addition, each member will have a personal view of the calendar which only they can see, showing the events they've marked as interesting or said they're going to.
