It was lovely spending time with you all at Princess of subness's birthday drinks, I was so shocked when I heard what happened. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Hugs and love to you both. Sam xxx Mistress Spitfire |

I haven't been here to leave messages until today, but all involved have been in my thoughts consistently over the past days, and will continue to be, during this most distressful of times..xxx ~“Nothing is ever the same as they said it was. Sarah has asked me to post a note of thanks to those who have been so supportive. The funeral today was a rather surreal occasions although as all said something very fitting and a personal memory. I don't think anyone expected so many different religious denominations to have been represented at a non denominational service. It was certainly a unique experience for me to mix with so many men of the cloth while clad in leather. There is no easy way forward but you know you will always have the support of friends and extended family. David

thank you everyone. I might break a MrsG rule and do a proper Thank You blog! *doubtful look* Only because there are some amazing friends who've done amazing things for us in the last month but you all know how I feel about blogs on Eye-Cee.
and once I start listing everyone it'll go on forever, and I'm bound to forget at least one important person Suffice to say that Steve, Eldest and I could NOT have coped (can not cope?) without the support of a very amazing bunch of people. Thank you all. Especially those who: were there for us (en-masse!) within hours the next day and in the following few days/weeks/ongoing daily those that arranged the Hotel, the food, the phone calls those who spent hours helping me slowly leave the 'safety' of the Hotel and enabled me to return home those that went above and beyond the call of any friendship and did the cleaning those that supported us through the funeral those who've put their own lives on hold to have been 'here' those that have kept in constant touch via email/text/phone calls etc etc. those that come over daily and dragged me out of the depths those of you who've replied on this thread those of you who've Memo'd me/FB'd me/Twittered/LJ'd me. So so many of you. I am completely and utterly humbled. Every one of you is important to us.
