Hello All.
It has become apparent i might be doing this more often and now having to change my sheets twice in the last 24 hours i need some advice. What you do use to stop ruining your sheets?! I have used towels but they soak thru, and its irritating becuase i have to prep my bed before i can get off! I'm thinking pvc sheets? something easy. Thanks.

I use cheap £1 shower curtains as 'drop cloths' for blood/wax play. Cheap enough to just roll up and dispose of after the fact, esp. if you cut them in half. K x 'I heard she's a bit of a thug' Mister Bear

I honestly just use towels :P But I'm pretty sure you can get blankets with a plastic layer in the middle, so nothing soaks through. Unfortunately, I can't remember what they're called -- hope someone else knows what I mean and can be more helpful! “When Rabbit said, 'Honey or condensed milk with your bread?' he was so excited that he said, 'Both,' and then, so as not to seem greedy, he added, 'But don't bother about the bread, please.'”

They're just mattress protectors - you can get them pretty much anywhere.

you can get plasitc backed mattress protectors that can be washed at lowish temp , they are normal material on top so no cold plasticy feel not overly pricey either , always use a bit of vanish in the wash aswell Bear if the sane judge the insane ..........who judges the sane

I used to use plastic dust sheets (available anywhere that sells paint and DIY items) - they're cheap but have a short life, as they split/tear very easily. If using one just cover it with a normal sheet and remove both when the "activity" ceases, wash the bed-sheet and leave the dust-sheet to dry out. However, I've recently bought a more sturdy mattress cover, one that will fit over the existing bottom sheet, cover it with another sheet, as before. It's a pain in the arse to have to prepare the surface and then remove it when done (sort of takes the spontaneity out of it) but... it's far better than a ruined mattress or sleeping in a huge puddle.

Another vote for mattress protectors- you can leave them on permanently as well and just change/remove the top sheet
