DIY - quick visit to the Court, they will help you complete the paperwork and file it. Much easier if no children/finances involved if there are then perhaps solicitor, expensive but will may avoid a costly mistake.

Finances etc have been agreed...This will be signed, so I am guessing a Solicitor's letter or deed?

should double check that there is no basis for revisiting the financial settlement but personally I'd run it by a solicitor for peace of mind

I would always get some professional advice, i know it cost but could save you money in the long run. Do you have a solicitor the you sue and can trust?

quite a lot of solicitors offer a first visit free.. some run a free clinic session for those who are unsure which is the best way forward for them, might be worth having a look locally. x

Can download all forms. If other party does not contest you're looking at 4-5 months. Costs something over £300. More if you use a solicitor although as others have said, many do give a free session in person or on phone.

Boss did it online. Not particularly quick due to some dodgy advice given to the other party, but quite easy to do the forms etc.

Huge hugs and lots of love from us both
