Really probably not no matter how much some might like to think so. Some on here are genuinely bright and some are equally dim. Beware of unrepresentative samples. RopeTopia for inofmation, tutorials, galleries and bondage education

I utterly despise even the notion that kinky people are in any way whatsoever more "special" than non- kinky people. BDSM isn't some clever club, it's a sexual kink for most. I'm not changing the world, I'm having orgasms.

I don't have time for being clever and doing that fancy book reading stuff, I'm far too busy thinking about kinky things and being a pervert! I tried being clever once, but it did'nt take. "I started out with nothin and I've still got most of it left."

No they aren't. Nip over to Popbitch or Mumsnet for real bitchfests. Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button?

<like> There's some totally dozy buggers, some very bright but emotionally stupid people and some bright sparks. Same as anywhere else. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

It may come as a surprise but there are many many people that were into good sex/kink/BDSM and so on 'before' IC and even those who do not use online forums etc...

In a word... No , but a lot rests on one's interpretation of brighter . Do we take it to mean more imaginative , more cheerful or more intelligent ? If you mean the latter then which definition of intelligence are you taking as your starting point . Personally I find most definitions of intelligence as inadequate being that they are generally culture-based. My own view of intelligence is that it is possible to be extremely intelligent & yet have little knowledge. A bit like common sense really. Sadly that seems very much lacking these days Cicely by name & sisserly by nature |
