Apart from Madame Rattan, who is very experienced and well known, the North East seems to be very short of pro dommes and BDSM activities in general. Obviously I now travel from Cumbria to Scotland and most likely Lancashire for my needs, but it does seem strange areas like Tyneside and Wearside seem almost devoid of activity and even the personals on here rarely have NE, SR and TS postcodes. | ||

North East England, while the North West seems well served, there seems to be a bit of a void for all aspects BDSM between York and Edinburgh. Madam Rattan and Lily von Frauenau are the only names I can think of. | ||

As there do seem to be a few, presumably the ratio of customer:service is balanced and they are not overtly promoting themselves because they have no need? Not sure if everywhere to the right of me is actually 'East' but I have been under the ministrations of an extremely classy lady from Yorkshire and can personally recommend Her: @The_Mistress_H (can't find profile name ...?) I must try even harder then with advertising. My two main sites have totalled about 100,000 hits in the last year with most of the usual banners and links. I think this is at least average for Mistress Websites. My films on the film website have had a similar number of hits in three months. My geeky webslave tells me that the recent average daily pageviews on my sites are 458,323 and 5234 respectively. It's not a post bemoaning the lack of dommes in the North East, just something I have noticed. Over in the North West and in Yorkshire things seem so much better. |
