Rope, Bondage, and Power... by...

Graydancer Zamil Janice Stine Van Drkholme Coral Mallow Tonbi Madison Young Esinem JD(from TKB) Maria Shadoes Mark Yu LadyGold Ariana Dawnhawk and Ryan Tony Buff and Derek da Silva LqqkOut Sarah Sloane Klawdya Rothschild

It doesn't have any illustrations, photos or particular ties, it's all text and all gold, I would say it teaches 'how to' develop technique and awareness instead of showing directions in wrapping rope around someone like all my other rope bondage books do.

(can't sleep so I think it's time to go bake a cake)

I know, no idea why people want a bunch of fancy directions, Doug's a lovely guy but he should never have attempted to show suspensions in his Sky book, some of the positioning on the arm wraps are terribly out of place, he mentions the importance of nerves and positioning yet either his models has very strange radial nerves or his work is sloppy.

Esinem's soon to release his first DVD, I can already tell it's going to be better then most of whats currently about.

"It's pointless to be hesitant when you're absorbed in play. It's like throwing cold water on ecstasy once it's finally caught flame." (from Tsujimura Takashi's Camera Hunt)

I bought Doug Kent's books 1 (land) & 2 (sky) recently (as in Jahc99's memo) - I think they're generally excellent, but a bit of a curate's egg: great in parts, but some real howlers in other places. Why, for example, does he really love his starting "limb loop"? It simply slips through, becomes uneven and can tighten down on the poor subbies limbs. (Maybe that's the point? :) ) A dreadful basic starting-point, and not easy to adjust. So don't take his advice as gospel, but the books are really good for inspiration, and have some nice illustrations and instructions. I for one am looking forward to book 3!
