Well shucks - I was out and missed the opportunity to join in the last two (it's the knees you know - they are useless once you get to 50)

What I can't help finding most amusing here, is that the whole thing started with the question "are some people so fucked up that we shouldn't play with them".

And brilliantly side stepping the AUP on naming and shaming, three prime candidates have proved themselves to be so, and offered themselves up for crucifiction.

Can we have the next contestant please ?

Ever wondered who the devil comes to for ideas ?

It's a valid question. Sometimes one should ask 'Does this person need to be humiliated in front of a wider public, or should they have a psychiatrist'

The only interesting thing in all these threads is the duplicity.

The Crowd Roars... "YOUR KINK IS OK"

Then one individual in the crowd says "YIOK"

Then another says "MKINYK"

Then the first says "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID ASSHOLE!!"

Then the second say "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A NAZI YOU FAT BASTARD?"

Then a third says "FIGHT!!!" and joins in.

And the Crowd lays about individual members of the Crowd far more fiercely than Society as a whole ever did.

Eventually, matters settle down, and the Crowd murmurs "I wonder why everyone (vanilla) thinks we are assholes?"

Oh, I don't know. I think these threads have been unusually calm for IC. Usually Admin steps in towards the end of the third thread to tell everyone to fuck off to weblogs if they really have to keep arguing. I can't ever recall seeing five threads on the same subject before.

Bad_dog_no_biscuit (8:45 PM): Well, when you grow some balls and come and see me, I'll kick them for you.

I was going to start V but call it mental illness which is the more interesting part of the thread.

Of course people can say it doesn't exist as we have free speech in the UK but that isn't correct. Whilst a lot of diagnosis is based on asking someone how they feel there are lots of physical things to look at - OCD - someone who cannot stop obssessively cleaning or whatever it might be and that can ruine their lives; someone who tries to kill and cut themselves - clearly they don't really want to do that and they cannot stop themselves; etc etc. So you can see the visible results of how they are feeling and it would be extraordinary if they just made all that up given then hate how it makes them feel .Anorexics - they don't have fun - they have a mental illness. Those who over eat in a very bad way until they sick or even until not sick but hate themselves and want to stop it. Addictions - the brains of addicts differ.

It's a very interesting subject to study but there certainly are physical explanations for how those people feel and for many the drugs mean they are still here. They'd be dead without them.

Not that "fiercely" ..... and some of the wit displayed by class acts so called "rejects" has been priceless ....

Yes

I find I'm learning more about some individuals from their responses on this set of threads than I've been able to discover from the more "mundane" subjects that go round - and round - and round ......

Oh well, at least they wouldn't have to suffer being insulted all the time and there would be more slim, wealthy, intelligent (arian?) types for people to choose from.

The insults might also make them more likely to consider suicide, too, which could be a way out; we don't seem to care much how hurtful some comments can be to those of a weak mind especially when repeated ad naseum.

I cannot believe this thread is in it's fifth incarnation.

Basically as I am seeink it, Ray, the problem is that you are not callink your girlfriend for five months. You see, the hot babies like to feel wanted. If you are not callink them on the phone for a while, it is like a way of saying "you are worst song, played on ugliest guitar"

If necessity is the mother of all invention, then assumption is the mother of all fuck ups :)

Interesting how the OP of the first thread has not posted on this subject since thread II. ;)
