....i haven't been here that much of late. And tonight i read of unsuitable people entering the scene, and oh, shock horror, how can we prevent them from doing so? (i can think of a fair few who i want bugger all to do with, but i'd rather leave them to it, leave me to it, and never the two shall meet type of attitude...i sure as hell am not going to bitch on the boards about it/them).
I read of "the lifestyle" and vaguely cringe. Don't people have *lives* for christ's sake? I *still* after all this time out and about, meeting all sorts of people - thick people, smart people, wise people, naive people - really do not understand why people do not get the simple truth of : we are all individuals, and we form relationships which work for us, as two individuals coming together. It really does not matter how Ds or BDSMy (or whatever other label you wish to/feel you ought to use) you are. What matters is your comfort in your own skin, with your own kink, and finding others who accept you for that.
It ain't fucking rocket science.

I am not at all sure that would be a good idea. I don't know about you, but give me a box to stand on (I need one, I'm short...), and I'm afraid the ranting could become a little tedious......

That idea has some merit. Least it wouldn't just be me, wagging a finger, tutting, drawing breath constantly to say, "oh, and another thing......." Love your tag line.

Well I shall have to challenge my prejudices- I find myself agreeing strongly with a grumpy old woman- or maybe the label is wrong. Live and let live, there are all sorts out there including some not very nice people, history shows we wont change them just try and limit the damage they cause and make sure it doesnt rub of on the rest of us |
