It was a busy night which did make it more difficult to part and give way as effectively as on a quieter night; however i accept this etiquette was not followed 100% by a small number. Overall i think people were well behaved. It is unfortunate that those behaving and making way will tend to get noticed far less than those that dont, so a few can give a baised view. Pedestal is a great friendly evening that is welcoming to people starting out in the scene which should be commended. Everybody was new at one stage and im sure we have all made mistakes and 'learnt' from these at some point. I am certainly learning all the time and am not free from making mistakes! I had a chat with a few subs during the evening and all accepted what i had said, they came across as new and that they were learning the ropes. Edited 29 Sep 10, 12:56 AM by slave_mumble

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to agree with the ladies. It's lost something. Too many people, a glaring loss of the usual protocols, and from what I could see, an awful lot of do-me 'subs' getting done by a lot of very accomodating women. *sigh*
Some great women though, (naturally) ...good to meet you at last Miss P and Dr Gas.
If you're not living on the edge....I can help.

This was, indeed the case. There were a number of times when males could clearly see females approaching and they did nothing to get out of their way, in fact a few were so bold as to walk straight into me and, begrudgingly, moved aside when it became clear that I wasn't going to.

i think its great that its busy and clearly successful if there is one club in the UK responsible for introducing people to Femdom and possibly even breaking it into the mainstream (the review by Scarlett magazine etc) then its Pedestal..it was bit crowded, true..people arent at their best when somewhat confined but i feel its serving a more important role than slight physical proximity with people i have at least something in common with..a massive thank you to all staff and to the organisers.. slanted and enchanted Edited 25 Sep 10, 5:31 PM by houseproudest

I thought it was a great evening, with a fab Friday-night-party vibe, but I do think that there was less of a palpable FemDom dynamic in evidence.
That said - it's so subjective, as ever - I had a very good time, chatted to loads of people and had some very intense play. (There were so many people I just didn't see And even managed to meet up with an ICer - who wasn't coming to Pedestal - for a quick drink beforehand. Finally! Thanks to @ms_jay for the 'pre-party': cava and chocolate ... yum! Get better, @ThedaVamp Edited to correct links Edited 25 Sep 10, 5:38 PM by MizzScarlett
