Having had just about the roughest 3 weeks ever at work, where at times it got so bad i either went into the toilets to cry or actually put my coat on to walk away, today was a blissful break from all that.
Thursdays is mine and little man day, we both have a soft spot for each other (mine isn't a spot its a great big crater of love and adoration for him, but shush now thats a secret) and often for some unknown reason we lay on my bed together and either look at books or chatter away. Today he laid his head on my shoulder and listened intently while i told him all the troubles i seem to be having. It's one of those moments you dont get very often, you know where a male actually listens.
After a little while i said to him, 'So come on big guy, whats the answer?', he didn't immediately reply and i(having experienced this before) thought he had fallen asleep. So i sat quiet, he then sat up, looked at me very seriously and said...
'Quack quack'
