Unfortunately, yes. There are more secure options, full belts etc. but then you're no longer talking about a £150 ball park price And even then you're never guaranteed any device will be 100% secure. Unfortunately without a piercing or something similar to prevent pull out the device is only there as a feeling of control and perhaps to create a state of mind... rather than actually for "real" security? There's a fab blog on this at www.malechastityblog.com which offers quite a lot of advice on this. Although they too have had the same difficulty in finding an ideal device!

Are these actually stainless steel? It says stainless on the headline, but look like the cheaper Chinese knock-offs, in chrome-plated cheap metal; which is consistent with the price. chrome plated plastic != metal. Miss ::: You shouldn't get stressed, it's bad for you.... Me ::: Well living with you is going to be fucking terminal, isn't it?

Not exactly. In the case of plastics, most "chroming" is now down in a vacuum chamber, where aluminium is evaporated and deposited on the surface of the object, then a topcoat is applied which gives a chrome effect. Fundamentally the object is still plastic.

Both chrome and aluminium can cause adverse skin reactions amongst some folk, possibly even in the minute amount present through this process - though they're on the outside. Apologies, != is new to me I've only come across Unicode 2260, /= and <> as meaning not equal to before. Edited 19 Sep 10, 1:19 PM by playful_pup
