W/we enjoy the good old comics by Eric Stanton as inspiring warmup, but are looking for something new based on the same or similar fantasy. I've been researching on the net but it's a real chaos out there. Which website is trustworthy, which online bookshop is ok and above all which comic is worth buying. Don't judge a book by it's cover ... Does anybody of you have a suggestion? Very grateful, max I've brought the light of bdsm into our relationship and now i suffer the consecueces ...

Try looking up Joel Shuster... he created Superman, but he did some kink stuff too...and check out Fetishman, he's just amusing. Not sure about much else. K x It's pronounced 'Car-Lee' *G*

I would say Sardax as well as Bruno Schulz (the book with 'femdom' content is called The Book of Idolatry), Rodzo, Namio Hurakawa, Hiroshi Tatsumi or Nanshakh. ETA you might also like to try 'real' literature, Venus in Furs by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. Next UK visit 25-29 November, will be attending Pedestal. I think you'll find it is a graphic novel This is what I am told when I use the word comic Interestingly I heard an interview with Stephen Frears the other day and when asked about adapting Tamara Drewe the graphic novel even he referred to it as a comic. Shame Ray Zell never turned Pandora Peroxide into a graphic novel, definitely all domme. With regards to "real" literature as mentioned above I definitely recommend Sacher Masoch. Best M Space travels in my blood. And there ain't nothing I can do about it. Edited 11 Sep 10, 10:41 PM by misfit

You could have a look here but so far as actual comics go, I don't know of anything outstanding. Eneg did some interesting F/f art but not much F/m. It's always been the Cinderella of the BDSM world. No don't ask me. It's been suggested often but I've tried sequential art and either got bored or irritated by it. So I'll stick to individual pictures. By the way for some people a "toon" means any drawing, that's how overwhelming cartooning is in the modern age.

Good idea actually. Maybe I start with individual pics until I find an artist of my wavelength. There are so many different tastes and interests in the bdsm world that it's difficult to find the right thing in all the vast offer I've brought the light of bdsm into our relationship and now i suffer the consecueces ... |
