I've just answered the door to a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses. They usually go away when I politely tell them thanks for dropping round but I'm not interested. They seemed keener than usual today to pass on the word...
... it was only when I closed the door that I realised I'm still wearing my collar.

Our local ones wont even knock on our door, im quite offended! They walk round regularly here, but they once saw me out the front washing my car and never came up to me, they regulaly knock at my neighbours, my house must be black listed! I can't believe I've no control | |

Say 'Sorry I didn't see the accident' then close the door. They do not knock on my door now as I asked a pair if they had a job. They knocked on my door at 11am on a weekday as I was going to bed as I worked very early mornings at the time. There is a fine line between sanity and insanity. I want to follow them around to people's front doors dressed fully in latex and wearing a gimps suit. The risk is that it might help them recruit people. | |

Ohh i have had some fun with them in the past! Many moons ago when i was on leave and living at my parents house[who were out at the time]and after a particularly heavy night out i was woken up fairly early by loud knocking. My bedroom was at the front and i opened the window and shouted out in a not too friendly voice, ''Who is it???!!!'' Backing out from the porch were two suited guys looking up nervously at the red eyed dishevelled lunatic glaring down at them. I said. ''Don't tell me.....Jehovah's witnesses???'' in a not too friendly voice. ''Erm yes...but sorry we have disturbed you we will leave.'' ''DON'T FUCKING MOVE I WILL BE DOWN IN A MINUTE!!!'' Struggling to pull on my jeans i banged down the stairs to the door to see them hastily walking quickly into the distance which turned into a fast run as i let out a roar of, ''GET BACK HERE!!!'' It caused me quite a chuckle for a long time after. Another time i answered the door to another pair and being bored decided to engage them in debate.After 30 minutes of tying their beliefs in knots i invited them in to continue the fun but they made their excuses and left.Shame,lol! A good friend of mine once invited his local JW's in for chilli and debate, and proceeded to effectively tie everything they said in knots til they didn't even notice that he makes the hottest chilli on the planet and took rather large mouthfuls at the same time...
They've never bothered him since! LOL I think they thought he gave them a taste of hell in advance Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. (R. Frost) | |

I have'nt seen any around here lately, normally they are in groups (for their protection perhaps *lol*, I dont know)  If I happen to see them coming, I dont bother to answer the door cos its hard to get rid of them and I dont like to be rude. Each to their own and all that, I have nothing against JW's but I dont share their faith. | |
