Although it had it's moments, I didn't think the first album was all that great really, especially for a Nick Cave work. That said, I think because of who he is there'll always be higher expectations of his stuff than might be otherwise reasonable, but that's the problem of being consistantly excellent!

Haven't heard the 2nd album yet but downloaded the first from iTunes last week. Enjoyed it! Saw Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at Brixton Academy a few years ago. |
