The Pope will be long gone to Glasgow and for those of you whose religious ecstasy has worn off, the Munch is on again, this time with added tomatoes. My tomato plants are about to peak in their crop of ripening tomatoes, so there will be a quite a few hand reared, organic tomatoes to be had, so bring a bag if you want some. All this fun happens at The Village, South Fort Street, EH6 4DN, any time between 8pm and midnight. If you put 17 South Fort Street Edinburgh into Google Maps you will get a photo of the door you enter. There is lots of free parking at the venue and various buses run past the end of South Fort Street along Ferry Road. We have the Lounge of the pub all to ourselves. If you come in the main door on the left of the pub, go through the reddish door in front of you and we will be there waiting for you. If you haven't been before there will be someone to welcome you whenever you arrive. If you go through the side door walk past the bar, out the door and immediately turn right through that door. There will be a sign with Private Function (LAF) on the Lounge door. Why don't cash machines have a Gamble button? Edited Thu 9 Sep 10, 12:13 PM by bohnanza

You wouldn't have a chance. The Catholic Church wesbite says that there will be opportunity to see the pope on the way through Edinburgh but the Edinburgh council website says there is no chance to see the pope. Think he's going to travel in a burka so no one can see him? Yes, I know it's politically incorrect, but it made me smile for a second! Dommy_nick Licence to perve!

How on earth did you get tomatoes?? This is the second year that I've only grown bushy green plants. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |
